Paragon Home Care is a family-owned, small business that has established itself since it's founding in 2013 as Northern Virginia's premier senior care provider. Our core values are summed up in three words: service, compassion, and respect; and our goal is simple: to be the extended-family caregiver of choice for the families we serve. We work hard to find caregivers who share our values and care for their clients as they would their own family members.


The co-founders, Juan Tuason and Ranjit Kohli, have a combined 52 years of professional experience in management and operations. 


In addition to his extensive management and corporate experience, Juan brings over twenty-two years of direct experience as a caregiver and senior community volunteer. Starting in 1996, he took care of a close relative who was terminally ill. Again in 2007, Juan took care of his father at home until he passed away. Juan also serves as a volunteer in the community; as a lay minister for his church serving home-bound parishioners, as Vice President of the McLean Community Village Association (McLeanCVA) non-profit organization, and assisting with providing rides to residents via the Shepherd's Center McLean-Arlington-Falls Church (SPMAFC) non-profit organization. 


Ranjit brings with him a twenty five year track record of success as an entrepreneur, innovator, manager, and community leader. Ranjit's professional experience includes executive leadership positions in several top corporations, as well as the successful development and growth of small businesses. Ranjit also serves as a volunteer in the community as a coach for both youth basketball and soccer teams.


They are joined by:

Ana Lacson, RN, Administrator & Director of Nursing. Ana oversees the care plans for all clients and supervises and trains our team of caregivers. She has been a nurse for over 17 years working both in hospital case management as well as in the home health care industry.


Nikki Greene, MBA, Director of Community Services. Nikki works with community organizations and facilities to provide needed services for those communities. Nikki comes with over 19 years of home health and home care industry experience.


Jamie Salazar is our Scheduling Coordinator. She provides invaluable administrative support and is often the first point of contact for our clients, their family members and employees.


Julie Maher is our HR Coordinator. She is the initial point of contact for our employees, and is responsible for recruiting, retaining, and initial training of our team members.


Paragon Home Care is also fortunate to have successfully assembled an impressive group of experts in the healthcare, eldercare, and home care industries, as well as social workers and senior advocates who serve as Advisory Board members. These individuals contribute to the overall culture of the company, as well as the value that we provide to our clients and their loved ones.


Finally, and most importantly, our Caregivers: we are proud to have established ourselves as the premier employer of choice for caregivers in Northern Virginia. As such, we have been able to attract a team of high-caliber aides, who are our primary representatives in the communities that we serve. Our focus on building this team is to ensure that we attract "true caregivers": dedicated and passionate about caring for their clients - and who don't merely approach the work as a "job."
